居住奧蘭多市十年來首次於國慶日往市中心Lake Eola Park（奧拿湖公園）欣賞煙花匯演。依
奧拿湖公園－奧蘭多市中心著名景點，園中著名地標噴泉去年因遇雷電打中損毀了。因為維修費用太貴而一直拖著未有修理，加上經濟差導致政府更無理由用政府錢
來優先處理這件事。可是經過差不多一年後，加有市民籌集小部份維修費用，再加上國慶日來臨，最後趕及國慶日前完工重新開放以供市民欣賞。
當晚有接近十五萬名市民聚集於依奧拿湖
公園內，一起欣賞欣煙花匯演。現場還有各式美食，啤酒，遊戲攤位，還有交響樂團和搖滾樂隊演奏助慶。許多市民早於下午四時便陸續抵達公園內爭取有利位置觀
賞煙花。在一片經濟差的大氣候下，奧蘭多市內多個煙花匯演的場地，都錄得過十名人次之紀錄。
筆者因為對依奧拿湖附近環境十分熟，故此可以安排於七時半方抵達公園附近並尋得泊車位置。與太太攜備旅行摺椅，悠閒地欣賞這一晚的廿分鐘煙花匯演。唯一美中不足之處是觀賞煙花之位置，現場並沒有裝設任何音響設施，亦距離現場演奏樂隊太遠，只聽到隆然巨響之煙花爆聲。筆者回家觀看錄影的煙花匯演片段，只錄得現場觀眾的嘩然歡呼聲及煙花爆發之聲外，實在乏味，於是在剪接錄影煙花片段之餘，自行配以高音色士風演奏一曲"Just the two of us"作為背景音樂。
